I heard today that Chrysler is going to file bankruptcy (GM probably too) and that the government is going to give a large portion of control to the UAW,larger than what they actually have. Of course the private investors are going to lose money, but hell who cares about that. Now I've always bought Fords ever since I started driving. (just a personal preference)and Ford is not presently taking government money. (Here's hoping they can keep holding out). My question is this: Do I have to go out and buy a GM or Chrysler now that they are going to be run by the UAW or will my Ford still be good enough? I remember back in the day when it was implied that you better not drive a Japanese car onto the Union Hall or apprenticeship grounds,or it might not leave in the same condition it came. Since I have never owned a foreign car or truck, I thought I was being a good union man. I have never really cared for the products that GM and Chrsler made, but you know I don't want to be considered a "bad" union member. Just thought I'd check. I have a question.
