The silence is deafening…
Heh, I know, it’s my fault.
The annual December meeting and giveaway was last Tuesday. Had a really good turnout, there were lots of good door prizes and cash giveaways. Unfortunately… I didn’t win anything.
For you Facebookers, I’m on Facebook, your business manager is on Facebook, The UA even has a pretty active Facebook page. So, look us up and friend us.
According to the BA’s there are still a few off… about the same numbers as it’s been for the last few months. Supposedly there is still work on the horizon, just keeps getting put off. Devon bids have been delayed again… December 8th now, I think.
Keep checking back, consistent activity on this site is just around the corner,

I keep getting request after request to become friends with people I know that are on facebook now but I haven’t become interested enough in facebook, myspace or twitter to spend any time on it. I may check it out.
I resisted the FB for a long time. I actually had created an account a long time ago, but never did anything with it.
Then a couple of months ago, my eldest, found the long dormant account and sent it out to all my friends and family that she was friends with. Needless to say, I was inundated with friend requests and finally gave in and become active.
I had set the account up under a semi-anonymous name with no pic and she still found it.
Soooo, go ahead and give in, they won’t leave you alone until you do.
The Hall bought 400 turkies and at the meetimg they were given out.according to an officer at the hall we have about 1200 members so 800 members did not get a turkey.The officer said there was not enough storage space to store the rest of the turkies.
Regaurdless if you went to the meeting or not the hall should supply each member with a turkey. this can be done by setting up a gift certificate at some local store.
Iwould like to know what your thoughts on this issue is and if we can get the remainder of the turkies distributed.
And if a member did not want his|hers than it could be given to a food bank of the choosing of the local. by the way the letter sent out pretaing to give away did not say attendance was requried in order to recieve turyey
While I’m on my box, I would like to know what you members think about our new secutary at the hall.Shanna is her name for those who don’t know.
She does alot of our uion busness from her personally cell phone when she is out of the office,and on week ends. Iwould like to see her cell phone bill be paid by us only the part that pertains to union busness.. let me know you thoughts
