United Association sponsors NHRA top fuel dragster
Don Prudhomme Racing announced today that the United Association was a major associate sponsor for their top fuel dragster driven by Spencer Massey. Full story here:
United Association and top fuel drag racing
Also, the NHRA announced that the United Association had secured title rights sponsorships of NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events in Chicago and Englishtown.
Full story is located here: United Association title sponsor of two NHRA full throttle events
It looks like from reading both stories that the United Association has pursued these sponsorships as a means of creating interest in our apprenticeship programs.

“Thoughts?”
Can we sponsor the women’s swim suite calendar while we are at it?
Are we the only ones left on here admin?
We still get visitors… must be shy. Maybe we should offer free liquor… get em loosened up a bit.
On another note, did you get the letter with your sooper secrit log in and password for the local site?
Yes I went and logged in just to check it out and there isn’t really that much to more to see after logging in.
I think the reason no one post on here anymore is because you made everyone mad with the republican bashing. There are only three democrats in our local. You, me and bkwoods
One more thing, What are the chances of getting mike liston or someone from the apprenticeship to post on here about some of the changes in the School? I hear there have been a lot of changes to the HVAC program. Glen isn’t teaching there any more and I have heard that Luther is winding down his career. Who is going to take their places? From what I hear Luther is running the program by his self.
Luther is running the hvac by himself or running the whole thing?
Luther is running the HVAC program, which is 3rd, 4th & 5th year by himself is what I have been told. bkwoods needs to get a teaching job at the school
I see. He teaches all three years of HVAC. I thought he was retiring soon?
