Who is to BLAME?????
Well then, who should we blame?
Blame has been thrown around here lately, from Republicans, the Liberals, the Rich, and Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart was brought up because whats the difference between the Mexican workers and their workers? So WHO is to blame for this mess?
Now the last post has delved into ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and that we should blame the Liberals for that……
The Mexicans take advantage of the freebies our government gives them.If you don’t like the way it is, don’t vote for the people who want them to be able to cross freely. That would be the liberals. They want to get them dependant on the government and be able to take away your work.
Wow, where does one begin…. first of all, lay off the Lou Dobbs, its a whole other topic, but I think if you do some real research, this MEXICAN freebie myth may not be what it seems.

And not to be an ass, but last time I checked, I dont cut grass, roof houses, or frame them…. not that Mexicans can only do those things, but the Illegals coming here are not fresh out of tech school……gunning for YOUR WORK…
Maybe you should lay off the Glenn Beck too……Actually, the repubs like having the illegals here… let’s their rich buddies hire cheap labor and add more to the bottom line.

So I blame you, the greedy, I need cheap shit, dont care that it might be my neighbor getting exploited, because in reality, he is no diffrent than an Illegal just trying to get bye, because “I can live better” and then blame the “liberals” and forget to mention that the Pubs love cheap labor…..
So check out this trailer for this documentary, watch it if you can find it, I had to get it from Netflix, if you shop at Wal Mart after watching it then you have no self respect for workers rights……because the cost of shitty wages still becomes a taxpayer issue….WATCH THE MOVIE!!!!Why should you get paid what your worth, while others are treated like crap so you can save a buck? Isn’t that wrong?

You guys are making some good points here. I remember about four years ago having lunch with a large group of union members and the topic of increasing the minimum wage came up. I was surprised at how many of our members were against the minimum wage increase then. Some people think that the minimum wage should stay low so that a person will try harder to excel and get away from the low pay. thoughts?
Who do you know that can live on $6.15 per hour? It’s not a living wage and I’m not sure it was intended to be a living wage.
My official opinion starts here>> It is intended to be a starting wage for somebody just entering the workforce i.e. a student or teenager. Or, as a supplemental income, i.e.. an untrained spouse or as a second or third job.
Now after saying that… the higher the minimum wage is set, the higher the “official good wages” become… does that make sense? Kind of how our wages set the wages for non-union.

Around three years ago a Mexican family that owns several McDonalds bought the one in Mustang. They bulldozed the existing building a built a brand spanking new McDonalds. When they reopened the workforce was around 95% mexican, quite a big difference to what it was before.
Just always found that to be a little interesting

Mexicans can live on $13 an hour. They get free health care! While doing work at a hospital I was told that immigrants come to the ER give some bogus name and address and the hospital can never collect.
I usually get to keep 2/3rds of my check. If I make $25 an hour I bring home $16.66 hr. which isn’t much more than $13. If I had any other deductions like health insurance it wouldn’t take much too actually make less than $13. The employer still pays workers comp, insurance and what ever else on top of the $25. It’s a no-brainer Mexicans are here to do cheap labor and if I were one I would probably sneak over here also
It’s been said that Mexicans are not coming to the USA taking our high tech jobs but are framing houses, roofing, concrete work etc. When the New Grant high school was built there were a lot of bricks that could have been laid by the brick layers union local #5 here in Oklahoma City but it was all done by Mexicans. They are here doing Mechanical, plumbing, electrical and are making some contractor very, very wealthy. We have always been told that they are only doing jobs that Americans won’t do but that statement is untrue. They can & will do it cheaper than Americans. I can’t find blame in desperate people trying to make a penny. At the end of the day it is the employer that is to blame that has hired them and all the big laws we passed to convict these employers were just a joke. How long have we been fighting the war against drugs? Have we won the war against drugs? As long as there is a demand there will always be drugs and cheap labor. You can call crime stoppers about drugs but if you call immigration they don’t even want to hear it.
